DAVE PELZ SHOWS PUTTING DRILL
HE SET UP FOR PHIL MICKELSON

GolfLife caught up with Dave Pelz in Vail, Colorado to learn how to cope with the fear of the Two Foot Putt.  Dave says it best; most golfers will fear the two-three foot putt! Dave Pelz has a perfect putting drill for you to overcome your fear of these short putts.

The first thing you will need to do is set up four balls around the hole approximately one foot from the cup.  Even though it seems like 4 easy putts, we bet some of you golfers fear it.  Go around the cup, making all four balls.  Once you have done that, set up 8 balls around the cup approximately two feet from the cup.  Go around the cup making all eight balls.  If you miss one, you have to start over until you make all eight in a row.  If you still have fear in your heart, complete the two foot challenge again.

Dave Pelz shows us how this is done in the short video above. Be sure to check out more of our lessons and drills in our Lesson Center!
