Norton, Massachusetts – Pure dominance. That’s the best way to describe this playoff run by Bryson DeChambeau after he won again for the second week in a row at the Dell Technologies Championship at TPC Boston. DeChambeau’s final round 67 (16 under par total) was enough for a two-stroke victory over Justin Rose.

Early on, it was 54 hole leader Abraham Ancer that provided the biggest obstacle for DeChambeau, but late in the back nine it was Aussie Cameron Smith who provided the late charge before faltering at the par-5 18th (finishing solo third at -13). DeChambeau’s birdies at the 8th and 9th gave him a two-stroke lead (that he would stretch to four), but just as Smith got to within one, DeChambeau hit wedge to 9 feet on the 15th and rolled in the decisive clincher. “That was it,” he said. “That’s how I play golf right there. Make that birdie and come off the green confident.”

With back to back victories over the best players in the world, the 24 year-old from Clovis, California has secured the top spot in the Fedex Cup standings going into the Tour Championship in Atlanta (regardless of what happens at the BMW Championship at Aronimink this week).

Fedex Cup Standings heading into the BMW Championship:
